On Tuesday, December 17, the U.S. Senate passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). From posts across America to bases overseas, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) supports America's 2.1 million service men and women and their families. By passing NDAA, Congress continues its 59 year tradition of investing in America's military infrastructure to ensure readiness, deterring threats, and protecting American allies.
On December 16, a bipartisan delegation of U.S. senators visited Belgium and Luxembourg to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. Senators participated in events surrounding this milestone including meeting with U.S. veterans who fought at the Battle of the Bulge. The Senators included: John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), Sen. Fischer, John Boozman (R-Ark.), Maggie Hassan (D-N.H.), Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.V.) Jacky Rosen (D-Nev.), Rick Scott (R-Fla.) and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.).
